Newborn session: Meet Harrison

1

Friday, 12 July 2013

Well, I gotta say, meeting little Harrison was an absolute delight and I couldn't believe how TINY he was. After a short 9 weeks with my own newborn I had already forgotten how small a 2 week old baby is.

Harrison was the most alert little man I have met, sure to be a quick learner taking in his wonderful surrounds with such lovely parents to nurture him.

Here are some of the pictures we captured one afternoon. Xx

Bump Shoot - 34 weeks and glowing

3

Sunday, 3 March 2013

What a beautiful morning is was with Michelle, loads of giggles at what pregnancy has meant to us and sharing our experiences. We took a walk through the bush and then quickly retreated back to the air-conditioned comfort of her home (it was 35degree day!). It was an absolute pleasure to meet and hang out with another mumma-to-be.

At 34 weeks and truly glowing, here are some of my favourites from our shoot. Isn't she just a glowing goddess?!?!

Oh, and big brother Mr. Pickles (yes, in a tuxe!..)

Last year I made a commitment to myself, to take more time to practise photography and step outside of my comfort zone.

This time the shoot was of a good friends family (minus the good friend being present), it was up to me to be a professional. To provide direction and also know when to fade into the background.

I thought I would share a few of the photos, below.

I will continue to build and grow this year and already have wheels in motion to make it more official, I can definitely say to watch this space in the coming months for an announcement. In the meantime, if you have an event or just want some shots, contact me for some info.

Your feedback is always GREATLY appreciated, so be sure to let me know what you think.

First family session: Sunday by the River

Wednesday, 21 November 2012

To say my heart doesn't melt when this little guy smiles is a lie. As you can see for yourself below, from the snippet, he is full of life and personality and it was also time for this little guy and his furry older brother, oh and his parents, to get some family snaps.

We spent about 45 minutes by the local river following the dog as he sniffed his way through the shrubbery and watched William as he adventured through the bush. A gorgeous way to start Sunday, or any day really.

Young Talent - Guitarist!

Tuesday, 20 December 2011

My one and only sibling happens to be 8 years old! (There is 17 years between us) Recently he has started to find his 'identity' and become more aware of his image. The one thing he has embraced this year is his guitar, and since his dad is in a band, music is pretty much in his genes. I must say, he is pretty good for a young guy, I can only hope he sticks with it.
